October 2025

So many rides through out October! We went down to Seaside and visited Bum Rogers Crab House, had great ride with a lot of good friends and great food at Mule Barn Tavern on Sandy Hook and rode proudly in yet another Columbus Day Parade through Long Branch.

September arrived and we did not skip a beat with at least 3 rides including Allenwood General Store for breakfast, Lambertville and the infamous Amys Omelette House in Long Branch.

Another Holiday Party - another great time! We had a fantastic afternoon at our absolute favorite spot, Franny’s. We caught up and had a white elephant gift exchange as well as donated over $200 to Franny's Food Forward Board for meals to local individuals and families in need.

More scooter fun throughout October. The pizza swarms continue weekly and we also rode in the Long Branch Columbus Day Parade as well as took a ride to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Mercer County!

Our 4th trip to New Hope and it was a blast - we went to Ace Cafe for Scooter Sunday and met up with our friends from the NYC Vespa Club. As always, lots of laughs of course, lunch!

Despite the dreary weather forecast, our group of 36 riders - members and non-members alike, showcased their unwavering enthusiasm and love of riding. Laughter and smiles filled the air as we rode, ate, had a drink or two and raffled off some cool prizes. A true team effort, thanks all for sharing your photos.

It was a foggy, dreary kind of day but the ride, the people and the pizza provided a bright spot. We chatted, we rode and we ate - some of us even earned a t-shirt at Pete and Eldas!

Reminiscent of our first ride 4-years ago, we did a scenic drive along the shore and through Atlantic Highlands to On The Deck for lunch. Sorry to see the season winding down but we are still actively riding!

Our second annual trip to New Hope was a success! We had a large group - 23 of us drove from NJ into New Hope, PA and met up with 8 of the NYC Vespa Club. Fran’s Pub in New Hope hosted us and the clubs also collected backpacks for students going back to school.

The July ride was our largest ride except for the parade - 30 scooters in total. We rode to Delicious Orchards where we enjoyed the apple cider donuts and then washed them down with some local brews at The Source.

We are definitely becoming professional paraders now. The weather held out and all had a good time at the Ocean Grove Independence Day Parade.

Who doesn't love a parade? I think we are getting good at this. We celebrated 'Vespa Parade Day' with 60 or so of our closest friends and took a long ride with a pizza party at the end.

The trip to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Robbinsville and Working Dog Winery in Highstown was a success! The ride was fantastic despite the unusual and extreme heat - some traffic due to a down tree coming home was rough but didn't ruin the zen feeling of the day.

We were 19-strong as we rode to Rumson for our beginning of the year meeting and then off to Pete & Elda's where three of us earned our Whole Pie Eaters t-shirts!

Irish eyes were smiling on us as we participated in the Highlands Saint Patrick's Day Parade on a beautiful day despite a formidable forecast. It was great to see all our friends on 2-wheels -- both old and new!

The Holiday Party was a success! A good time was had by all -- we had a fantastic afternoon at our absolute favorite spot, Franny’s. We caught up and had a white elephant gift exchange as well as collected for Toys For Tots and a hoodie collection on behalf of the Highlands Lions Club for the Blessing Bag Brigade.

The Chaos Crew was invited to the Long Branch Columbus Day Parade.

For our October ride, once again, the Chaos Crew stepped up and brought donations to Ronald McDonald House in Long Branch - fulfilling many items on their Wish List. The ride to Bell Works where we held our quarterly meeting was fantastic!

First we were postponed for a month, then we had some setbacks on the way but at the end of the day, it was one of our favorite rides! New Hope, PA!

Fantastic first ride of the season! Our largest yet with 17 riders. Kicked off in Long Branch, rode to Hartshorne Woods and through Red Bank. Lunch at No Limits Cafe, followed by a drop-off to the Middletown Lions who will be packaging donations for distribution to the homeless through the Blessing Bag Brigade.
