We started our Facebook group in November 2017 with just two members. By 2018, five of us gathered for our very first ride. In just three years, our online community grew to over 90 members. In 2021, we entered a new chapter—our first full year as a formally incorporated club—with 67 active members by the end of 2023.
The 2024 season marked another turning point. We chose to "unincorporate" and open up membership to everyone. This shift brought in fresh faces, including many from farther afield, and quickly pushed our numbers past 100. Our club and its structure continue to evolve, and each change seems to enhance the experience, bringing together new friends who share our passion. Now, in 2025, we're seeing new leaders step up, organizing events and leading more rides than ever before. We've spent less time behind screens and more time out on the road—exactly where we belong. Coming from all walks of life, we don't get to ride together as much as we'd like. The reality is that we have jobs, families, commitments and even different skill sets but the one thing that we do have in common is a love of riding and respect for all members. |
