You will see that our club is run by a Board of Directors, however, the lifeblood of the club is our members. To this end, we ask that everyone participate in in the operations aspect in some way, shape or form so we can have as many fun, and safe, events and rides as possible.

Everyone is busy - life demands seem endless, and no one has enough time - we value everyone's time and do not ask for a huge time commitment. Please look through the below committees as well as other needs and let us know where you can offer your time, insight or advice.

Guessing that none of us have run a scooter club before so no experience necessary - just a good attitude and willingness to make our club better.
We have one open Board Position (subject to approval by existing Board Members):
Treasurer
The Treasurer provides financial support to the organization.
  • Maintains up-to-date membership list, available at request by any member of the Board of Directors
  • Coordinates reimbursement expenditures through the Board of Directors
  • Receives, records and reports all monies or property donated to, paid to, or owned by the club
  • Keeps an account of all receipts and disbursements so that a statement of the financial condition of the club is available upon request by the Officers or general membership
  • Prepares a quarterly report for the Board of Directors to be shared at the first meeting of following quarter
Committees
Safety Committee. What do we do right? Where could we use some extra work? What do you see during our rides that makes you wish you had a forum to bring it up? Our Safety Committee is currently working on workshops where riders can practice their skills.

Marketing. If we have anyone in the group with a marketing/graphic design background and some time, we could use a Group Marketing Lead to spearhead some marketing and design related projects. Some responsibilities related to this would be social media postings on public pages, review and update Chaos Crew merchandise shop, review and update/optimize existing logo, design posters (parade) and brochures as needed, monthly newsletter, creative ideas as needed.

Legal. The club always needs legal advice. If you have a legal background and are knowledgeable about 501(c)(7) Corporations and liability, we'd love to talk to you.

Insurance. The club needs insurance advice. If you have an insurance background and are knowledgeable about 501(c)(7) Corporations and liability, we'd love to talk to you.

Other. We all have/had day jobs, right? If there is something that you can offer the club, we would love to hear about it! Perhaps you own a t-shirt shop or are super skilled at maintenance/upgrades and want to do a workshop - let's put it together! Don't be shy.
